fancal terms of service

1. About these terms

fancal.app (“fancal”, “we”, “us”) is operated by NDC Group Technology, LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Miami. These terms of service (“terms”) govern your use of fancal.app, its calendar feeds, and any related services (together, the “service”).

By creating an account, subscribing to a calendar feed, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a paid plan. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms for it.

2. The service

fancal generates personalized calendar feeds (.ics) of sports fixtures for teams, competitions and custom mixes you choose. Depending on your plan, events can include kickoff times, scores, venue details and US TV or streaming information.

Please keep in mind:
  • Your calendar app controls refresh timing. We update feeds on our side regularly, but Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook and others decide when to re-download them. Changes may take hours to appear.
  • Calendar feeds can't send push notifications. Any alerts come from your calendar app's own settings, not from fancal.
  • Coverage changes. We may add, change or remove sports, competitions, teams or features at any time, for example when a data source becomes unavailable.
  • Links in events. Event descriptions may include links to third-party services such as streaming or ticketing sites. Some of these are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.

3. Accounts and personal feed URLs

You need an account to subscribe to most feeds, and you must confirm your email address before adding calendars. Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us promptly at legal@groupndc.com if you think your account has been compromised. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Each feed URL contains a private token tied to your account. Your feed URLs are for your personal use. Don't post them publicly or share them with people outside your household.

You can regenerate your token from your my feeds page at any time. When you do, all of your old feed URLs stop working and you'll need to re-add the new ones to your calendar app.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

fancal offers a free plan and a premium plan. Current features and limits for each plan are listed on our pricing page and may change over time.
  • Free ($0): limited feeds, shorter date window, slower refresh; may include sponsor messages.
  • Premium ($5 per month or $50 per year, USD): full feeds and features, no ads.
Auto-renewal. Premium renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and we charge the payment method on file, until you cancel. We'll tell you in advance before changing the price, and the new price applies from your next renewal.

Payments. Payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We don't store your full card details. Prices exclude any taxes that may apply.

Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from your account page. Cancellation stops future renewals; premium stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.

Refunds. You can request a full refund within 14 days of your first premium payment by emailing legal@groupndc.com. After that, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

When premium ends. Feeds beyond the free plan's limits are paused, not deleted, and show a “subscription paused” notice in your calendar. Resubscribe within 90 days to restore them. After 90 days, paused feeds are permanently deleted. We email you a warning before that happens.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:
  • resell, sublicense, rebroadcast or republish fancal feeds or their data, including on websites, apps, bots or other calendars;
  • share your personal feed URLs publicly or with people outside your household;
  • scrape, bulk-download or automatically harvest data from the service, beyond normal use by a calendar app;
  • try to get around plan limits, access controls or abuse detection;
  • interfere with or overload the service, or try to access accounts or systems that aren't yours;
  • use the service for anything unlawful.
Abuse detection. We monitor how often each feed URL is accessed and from how many different locations. If a feed looks like it's being shared widely, we may disable it automatically. Your calendar will show a notice, and you can restore access by regenerating your token. Repeated or serious misuse can lead to suspension (see section 10).

6. Sports data accuracy

fancal's fixtures, scores, venues and broadcast details come from third-party data providers and public sources. We work to keep them accurate, but we can't guarantee them.
  • Kickoff times, dates, venues and broadcasters can change at short notice, and changes may take time to reach your calendar.
  • Live scores may be delayed or incomplete.
  • Tournament placeholders (for example “Group A winner”) are filled in only once results are known.
Always confirm important details with the official team, league, venue or broadcaster before you travel, buy tickets, or make plans. fancal isn't responsible for missed events, travel costs or other losses caused by inaccurate or delayed data.

7. Trademarks and no affiliation

fancal is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any team, club, league, federation, governing body, tournament organizer, or broadcaster. That includes, for example, FIFA, UEFA, the Premier League, the NBA, and their member clubs and teams.
  • Names. Team, league, competition and broadcaster names are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify which fixtures a feed contains. That use doesn't mean the owners endorse us.
  • Logos and crests. fancal doesn't use official team, league or tournament logos, crests or emblems.
  • Flags. National flags are used only to identify national teams.
  • Concerns. If you own a trademark or other rights and believe something on fancal infringes them, contact us at legal@groupndc.com with details. We'll review it promptly and remove or change the material if appropriate.

8. fancal's intellectual property

The fancal name, logo, website, software, design and the way feeds are put together belong to NDC Group Technology, LLC. While you follow these terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service and add your feeds to your own calendar apps. You may not copy, modify, or build a competing product from the service or its output.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without owing you anything.

9. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we collect and use personal information. To detect shared or abused feeds, we record when each feed is accessed. In fancal's own records, IP addresses and device user-agents are stored only as one-way hashes.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using fancal and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or close your account, or disable specific feeds, if you break these terms, if we're legally required to, or if your use puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we'll notify you first. If we close a paid account without cause, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.

Sections 6, 7, 8, 11 and 12 continue to apply after your account ends.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY CALENDAR APP.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, NDC GROUP TECHNOLOGY, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, TICKETS OR TRAVEL COSTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR US $50.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain of these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify NDC Group Technology, LLC against claims that arise from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

12. Changes, governing law and contact

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email or on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that date, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

General. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms and our privacy policy make up the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
